Data controller: Salvatore Di Maria (individual).
Public project brand: The Viking of the Web.
Privacy contact: thevikingoftheweb@gmail.com.

This notice explains how the OOPS! app and, where stated, this website may process personal data. Some functions depend on optional services.

1. Data involved

2. Purposes and legal bases

Depending on the feature, processing relies on performance of contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)), legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention (Article 6(1)(f)), or legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

3. Service providers

Services may involve Google Play, Google AdMob, Cloudflare (where used for the game's online features), and Vercel (website hosting), including their subprocessors. International transfers are subject to safeguards required by applicable law.

4. Retention

Account-related information is retained as necessary for the service, unless deletion is requested or a legal obligation applies. Technical-log and leaderboard retention periods must be verified against the active backend and hosting provider.

5. Ads and local storage

Advertising choices can be managed where made available in the app and through Google controls. Rejecting personalised advertising does not necessarily prevent all non-personalised requests; actual processing depends on SDK settings. See the cookies and local storage notice.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable rules, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent at thevikingoftheweb@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

7. Account deletion

See the account deletion instructions to request removal and understand potential legal retention exceptions.

8. Children

Age targeting and any ad processing must match the audience declarations in Google Play and the app's actual settings. Please contact us with concerns involving minors.

9. Security and changes

Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are used as applicable. Material changes will be reflected in an updated notice and date.
